This is a picture of the steps that led outside in the back of the school before the addition of the gym and two more classrooms.  Where these stairs used to be is now a stairway leading from the upstairs classrooms to the downstairs addition.  Both the old school and the addition are enclosed into one big building.

In many of the oral history interviews, people described how they would pick apples out of the classroom (now the library) window.  This apple tree is long gone.
