This empty flat land on the south side of Rd. 16 (Logan Valley Rd.) used to be lined with bunkhouses (also the north side of the road)

We're walking on the old RR bed (now a road and airstrip) toward the concrete slabs that are all that's left of the shop.
|
 |
|
Until it all burned, this is where the company store, tavern, restaurant, motel, garage, and movie theatre were located. In the summer of 2001, the city of Seneca cleaned up all the remains and filled in the area.

| Here is a rendition of a map showing the Seneca Shops made by first & second graders. Eventually the students will build a 3-dimensional model of this map. |
